Ongoing Artist Call

Third place Teas is looking for local artists interested in having their work displayed in a tea shop setting as part of an ongoing rotating art collection.

Artists selected for the collection will have the opportunity to display their work in one of four designated display areas within the shop. Artwork will be curated to ensure that it is a good fit for the space and that each piece fits within the dimensions of its assigned display area.

How It Works

Artists may submit their work for consideration to be included in the ongoing collection. Selected artists will be assigned one of the available display areas based on the size and presentation of their work.

Artwork may remain on display on a rotating basis, with availability determined by the shop and the ongoing curation of the collection.

Fees & Sales

  • Wall space fee: $40 per month

  • Commission: 30% of the sale price of artwork sold through the shop (15% of which covers service fees)

  • Artwork will be displayed on a rotating basis throughout the year. Rotation dates and display periods may vary depending on the exhibition schedule and other events taking place in the space.

  • Artists receive the remaining 70% of the sale price.

  • Artists are responsible for providing artwork that is finished, ready to display, and appropriately prepared for hanging.

  • Artists are responsible for paying their display fee prior to setup. (ie, display period of two months will be $80)

Display Requirements

Artwork must fit completely within the designated display area. Artists should review the available space and dimensions before submitting work.

The shop reserves the right to curate artwork based on available space, size, presentation, and overall fit with the environment.

Important Information

This is an ongoing curated opportunity, and submission does not guarantee placement. Space is limited to four designated display areas, and availability may change as artwork rotates.

Artists are responsible for ensuring that their artwork is properly prepared for display and for providing accurate artwork information and pricing.
